| Youth Groups: there
is a Youth Group for children 7 and upwards who meet at organised times for various
activities by the Junior Church teachers.
Activity
days
for children - held in school holidays. These are organised by the
Junior Church teachers and advertised in Junior Church, local schools and the
neighbourhood.
Developing Discipleship: a series of
studies for everyone and groups meet on various days and times to suite, one series of
meeting each year. Organiser Les Fry Tel 0117 924 1063.
The Elders usually meet on the first
Wednesday of each month.
Church Meetings
are held every other month. March, June and November meetings are held after
a Sunday morning service. Weekday evening meetings are held in May,
July and September.
First Thursday
- a meeting at the church at 2.30 PM on the First Thursday of every
month to which all church members and others are welcome. It is a
chance to chat over a cup of tea and get to know each other.
First Thursday is now about to start its
fourth year. Past programmes have included members recounting their
experiences of WW2, gentle exercises with a professional instructor,
New Year and Summer Garden parties and speakers on a range of topics
including trams in Bristol, experiences of a journalist and bead
making in Uganda and theatre visits.
The programme for 2009/2010 Starts on
September 3rd and includes talks on My Favourite Poet,
The Mysteries of the London Livery Companies and The Progress of a
Peripatetic Protestant. Other activities will include a New Year
Party and Play Reading by members.

Toddlers (and parents and carers) meet
every Thursday at 10.00 am in the Conference Room of the Church.
Traidcraft stall: this is available
after morning service each Sunday to buy fairly traded goods from the Third World.
Church flowers:
church flowers are
distributed after morning service to all those who are ill, in hospital or
celebrating. Contributions to the flower fund or payment for a week`s
flowers are welcome.
