Redland Park supports a local and international charity each year. Here are the  2012-13 charities.

INTERNATIONAL: Pandini School

Our overseas church charity for this year is a special needs class at Pandani School, on the island of Pemba, Zanzibar - part of Tanzania.

LOCAL: Barton Camp - The Bristol Children`s Help Society

Barton Camp was founded by Redland Park`s first minister, Rev Urjah Thomas, to provide holidays for needy youngsters from the city.  It is still thriving today. It was an appropriate local charity to support in the year that the church celebrated its 150th anniversary.

Redland Park also regularly supports Traidcraft which sells goods from Third World countries at fair prices that guarantees a better deal for the people who produce them and their families. They cut out the middle men and deal directly with producers. The Traidcraft stall is open after Sunday morning service at Redland Park.

Redland Park regularly runs fund raising events for the charities they support.  These include concerts, fayres, cake sales, quizzes and sponsored activities.

We also organise special fund raising collections for world disaster emergencies such as the tsunami and the Pakistan earthquake appeals. Gift Aid envelopes are available in the church pews or from the treasurer.
