A long standing but informal link between Redland Park URC and New Brunswick URC became a joint pastorate at a special service attended by both congregations in February 2006.

Redland Park`s Minister Rev Douglas Burnett leads the pastorate and now takes regular services each month at New Brunswick.  The team of ministers and lay preachers who have regularly led services at New Brunswick continue to do so.

New Brunswick is a lively church situated in the Southmead area of Bristol.  It has been on its present site since 1949.  Following a fire in 1998 the main sanctuary had to be demolished and the remaining buildings converted.

The result of the enforced change in the building has been a flexible worship area which is also used daily by outside agencies for training purposes and meetings.

New Brunswick has a Girl`s Brigade company and Women`s Guild which have been meeting for over 50 years.

There is also an annual Holiday Club which is well supported and very successful.  It includes a week away and regularly each year attracts up to 30 children.
