Redland Park has been given a special award for work with Leyhill Prison.
The Certificate of Merit from the Government backed Experience Corps follows
a Redland Park initiative to support and build links with Leyhill -
organised by Redland Park`s Unity
organisation.
The church most recently held a
Christmas service at Leyhill.
There have also
been special services and social events at Redland Park for staff and
inmates.
The award was
presented by Minister Douglas Burnett to Unity
Leader Pamela Gray on Sunday 5th January, 2003. |
