The land of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe came to Redland Park for a Narnia activity day. The many children, and their parents, who turned up had the chance to “go through the wardrobe” into the a world of Christmas trees, a glowing street lamp and some realistic looking snow.
Waiting to greet them were Mr Tumnus and the White Witch. But they also were given a glimpse of some of the spiritual themes behind the famous story by C.S.Lewis which is now a highly successful film. This event, with its special theme, was one of a regular series of activity days run throughout the year by Redland Park.
More activity days and weekends are planned over the coming months.
Look out, on this site and in other church publicity, for details of the upcoming activity days which are usually organised during school holidays.
